From $300,000 to Released on Recog

Just finished a bail review hearing where my client was being held on a $300,000 bail set by the court commissioner, following his arrest for felony drug charges, as well as a charge of possessing a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.  I pointed out at the review hearing that my client has no record, has a history of verifiable employment, that the drugs and firearm were found in an apartment that is not leased to my client, and that the vast quantity of drugs recovered were found in a bedroom not linked to my client, but rather to his co-defendant. 

After hearing my argument, the court reduced the bail from $300,000 to release on personal recog, meaning my client is released from jail pending trial, without having to pay a bond to secure his release.
